Investigation of the relationship between particle shape and flotation kinetic constants of magnetite ore milled in a ball mill at different milling times
I wanted to share a podcast that briefly and nicely explains our research paper, recently published in the journal Powder Technology article 2026, 474, 122272.
In our paper, we explore how grinding time influences particle shape and its subsequent effect on flotation rates. We found that longer grinding times produce more circular particles, which significantly enhance flotation kinetics, particularly for magnetite particles.
